They will eventually get it.. »

The only thing that will spur new job growth will be tax cuts.

It will happen.. they will call it something else, never use the words “tax cut”.. but that is what will start to bring us out of this recession.

New government jobs, and temporary spending bills do nothing but delay the inevitable recovery.

Climate Change hoax continues to unravel »

Today we hear that much of the original data used to prove “climate change,” “global warming,” hoo haa has been lost.

The Times Online reports today:

SCIENTISTS at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based.

It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years.

The UEA’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) was forced to reveal the loss following requests for the data under Freedom of Information legislation.

In a statement that followed on their website, the CRU claimed “We do not hold the original raw data but only the value-added (quality controlled and homogenised) data.”

What kind of scientist throws away the raw data to something that he considers so important that he is calling for coutries to spend Trillions of dollars?

Tsongas Votes to Support Acorn »

This i a group that has been proven to be partisan (while accepting non-profit status), whose founders were guilty of embezzlement, who were caught faking voter registrations in the last presidential elections, and now shown to be more than willing to teach people how to break the tax laws.

And Niki Tsongas votes with the extreme minority of 75 out of 433 to continue funding this group.

I guess partisanship comes before fiscal responsibility.. or even morality when it comes to our House Rep.

Stand with Joe »

I think South Carolina Republican Joe Wilson should wear that Congressional rebuke as a badge of honor.joe-wilson
Now all the lefties are somehow labeling his pointing out that President Obama was lying as racist.
I guess the argument is won. Once one side has to revert to the race card then its obvious they have no real arguments.
There are no issues of race in the bills proposed bills, or in the arguments for or against the bills.
Its only people trying to keep the race issue alive in this country.. the organizations that thrive off it.. that keep doing so.
And they choose a poor totem for their cause. Isn’t Obama’s mother white?
I don’t get it. If I see racism, I will call people on it.. even exaggerate the point to make it clear.
But when people claim racism to try to win an argument when its not there.. they are the racist.

I say.. make a donation to Joe Wilson’s campaign. Stand for the truth. So far his campaign has raised over $1.6 Million over this issue. Lets get it to $2 million.

ACORN meets Karma »

The federal gravy train can’t last forever, when you’re so blatent with your activities.
CBS News tells us:

The left-wing activist group ACORN is under fire Monday after employees of its Brooklyn office handed out advice on how to get a loan to open a brothel.

When an incident of this showed up last week, ACORN called it an aberration and fired the two employees of a Baltimore office who were involved.

Then, another incident was released that occurred in Washington, DC. Seems like there is a trend here.

The Census bureau issued a statement last weekend that they have dropped plans to use ACORN to help with the Federal Census next year.

Then there was a third tape from New York.

From Fox News:

In a statement to FOXNews.com, Rep. Roscoe Bartlett, R-Md., said the videos in Washington and Baltimore show “clearly a pattern of improper partisan or fraudulent activities.” He pointed to an amendment offered by Sens. Mike Johanns, R-Neb., and David Vitter, R-La., that would ban ACORN from receiving direct or indirect federal funds under the FY 2010 Transportation-Department of Housing and Urban Development appropriations bill.

When the press joins the Administration.. who protects the people? »

ABC and NBC are refusing to play this ad, so I think the net has to do the job that the press is supposed to:

Looks like Town Hall Protesters Win the Day »

All over the news shows on Sunday, and throughout the press today, we hear that the Obama administration is backing down on the “public option.”

This was the key part of the protests, in that it was a stepping stone to move from public option to single payer.

Fixing some of the problems with health care itself can now get done.. with all sides back at the table.

Dealing with pre-existing conditions, catastrophic health care, administrative costs, and tort reform can now become the real focus of the discussion.

I think the right wing, being in the minority, was better able to rally true grassroots support on this issue better than any of the contrived left wing Sorros-funded Move-on.org and other “community ogranizers” ever did.

We hear that studies in opposition to the global warming crowd are now being suppressed by the EPA.

Emails released by the Competitive Enterprise Institute show that a recent study not only suppressed, but other groups looking to comment on it were instructed not to as well:

The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), a non-profit, free-market public

policy organization, hereby submits these comments on EPA’s Proposed Endangerment

and Cause or Contribute Findings for Greenhouse Gases under Section 202(a) of the

Clean Air Act.1

A report from C-Net summarizes the situation that clearly shows that the only purpose of the EPA here seem to be to support the Obama and Pelosi policy of massive new taxes to try to manipulate the energy industry while costing the “main street” additional billions of dollars.

Within the EPA this all has to do with giving the EPA control over carbon emissions across the country. For the rest of us, it has to do with more excessive taxation during a recession.

Alan Carlin, the primary author of the 98-page EPA report, said in a telephone interview on Friday that his boss, McGartland, was being pressured himself. “It was his view that he either lost his job or he got me working on something else,” Carlin said. “That was obviously coming from higher levels.”

E-mail messages released this week show that Carlin was ordered not to “have any direct communication” with anyone outside his small group at EPA on the topic of climate change, and was informed that his report would not be shared with the agency group working on the topic.

Carlin has an undergraduate degree in physics from CalTech and a PhD in economics from MIT. His Web sitelists papers about the environment and public policy dating back to 1964, spanning topics from pollution control to environmentally-responsible energy pricing.

After reviewing the scientific literature that the EPA is relying on, Carlin said, he concluded that it was at least three years out of date and did not reflect the latest research. “My personal view is that there is not currently any reason to regulate (carbon dioxide),” he said. “There may be in the future. But global temperatures are roughly where they were in the mid-20th century. They’re not going up, and if anything they’re going down.”
