The Dracut Republican Town Committee (DRTC) is serving up eggs and political discourse.
The Breakfast for GOP Candidates gives area residents the opportunity to meet the Republican candidates for state and national office while also enjoying a delicious breakfast. The popular DRTC-sponsored event takes place Sunday, October 21 from 8:30 to 11:30 am at the Dracut House of Pizza on Lakeview Avenue.
“People are worried about jobs and the economy and they’re looking to Republicans to control spending and taxes and bring balance and accountability to the state and federal governments,” said DRTC Chairman Brian Genest. “
The DRTC is pleased to give voters the opportunity to talk about the issues with this strong slate of Republican candidates before this important election.”Candidates confirmed to attend the event include:
Cathy Richardson for State Representative, Paul Adams for State Senator, Jon Golnik for Congress
Representatives of the campaigns for Scott Brown for U.S. Senator and Mitt Romney for President have also been invited.
Tickets are $15 per person, $20 per couple or $25 per family.

Bummer that it was the same day as the Scott Brown rally at Umass Lowell that we attended. My high school senior who is actively involved in politics and will be a 1st time Dracut voter would have like to have gone.
The UML was a good event with Jon Golnik, Rita Mercier (a strong supporter), Gail Huff and daughter Ariana, Senator Kelly Ayotte (from NH) and of course Senator Scott Brown.

That is too bad, Bob. A few of us went to the rally right after the breakfast to catch the speeches as well. Please let your son know we have an office on Bridge St., in Bridgewood Plaza, if he wants to stop by and get information on any of the Republican candidates. We are generally there between 4-6 PM during the week. It is wonderful to get the young people involved.
