Dracut to the Superbowl Saturday Evening

From the Sun:

The Merrimack Valley Conference champion Middies (10-2) will face Atlantic Coast League titlist Marshield (11-1) in the last of six games at 8 p.m.

This will be the Middies first Bowl appearance in two decades (1988).

The game will be held at Gillette Stadiumn.

However, I have checked with Teddy Panos, and 980 WCAP will be broadcasting the game live Saturday evening as well (for those of us who don’t like to brave the cold).

So take the drive down, or listen at home in front of the fireplace with some hot cocoa and smores. Either way, lets cheer them on to another victory for Dracut.

Update: although not posted on their site yet, its been announced by the Lowell Sun that Dracut’s Matt Grimard has won the Gatorade Massachusetts Player of the Year for Football.

Update: There will be a rally on Saturday at the School Complex in the afternoon at 3:00 pm (don’t forget the tree lighting ceremony that night as well).
The school has also set up a fan bus as well to help reduce the night driving involved in returning from the game. Check out http://www.dhssports.org for more info.
