After last week’s win against Brockton, Dracut is ready to take on the Crimson Tide. Many plan to take the trip down to Everett for the game (including former coach Murphy).

Update: The Lowell Sun reminds us:
There will be a live video stream of this game on http://www.lowellsun.com for those of you who cannot attend.
Another Update: The Band is Attending
Dracut’s High School Marching Band was not planning on attending this game for lack of funds for transportation.
Everett would have none of that.
In a surprise gesture, Everett is paying the transportation costs to bring our band down to participate in a town parade, as well as the half time show during the game.
Press Coverage continues.
Athletic Director Tim Woods tells me that he has been dealing with press people non-stop all week. The Lowell Sun, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, WBOS Radio, 980 WCAP, a local Everett Newspaper and Radio station…
He has also been contacted by Fox 25 News, who want to cover the October 10th game against St Johns Prep as well.

Its time for the Middies to show that they belong at the top.
Best of luck to the Middies. You can do this.

Dracut should be proud of the way their team played and conducted itself last Saturday at Everett Memorial Stadium.
The played and acted with class–not all teams do that.
BTW–Great band the Middies have.
See you next year in Dracut.
