RAIN OR SHINE.. THE SHOW WILL GO ON!
Doesn’t look like it did.. I’ll try to find out if it will be done later, but town hall is closed, the banks are closed… Its tough to reach anyone.. but I’ve got some calls and emails out to try and find out.

i wanted to know if dracut was still going to end up having the 4th of july fireworks tonight. the weather people said there is going to be scattered showers. i just wanted to know so get back to me when u get a chance.

I just checked with “those who know”.
Fireworks will be tonight. If its raining hard, they’ll just wait it out (most of these storms have just blown through).
And I have to admit, I stole the picture off the web.. lol

Don’t you just hate it when you get bad information? (Rain or Shine!! I don’t think so.) So what’s the plan now? Friday night? I’ll be in Boston so if anyone would like to take pictures and send them to me for publication in the Sun or the Dispatch, I’d appreciate it. Make sure I have your name so I can credit you. Well, thats what they told me around noontime..
I’ll call over there today and see what happened and is happening.
I drove over at about 8:00 and saw very few people, so assumed it was cancelled. Didn’t hear any fireworks.
Not sure what my plans are yet for tonite (still have to work in the morning).

We took a ride over at 8:15, there were about 50 people hanging around the parking lots of the Englesby and High School, then a woman came around and told everyone they were cancelled. I asked about re-scheduling and she said she did not think they would be rescheduled, just cancelled.
