Brian Bond supports Cox, Zimini for Selectmen

Selectman Candidate Ted Kosiavelon proposes to have the Canney Farm property re-appraised. This could cause a significant delay to the proposed sports complex.  This re-appraisal could result in a delay of approximately 6 to 12 months OR prompt the worst case scenario where the seller backs out of the project because of continued delays and complications with the process.

There has been a significant amount of time and energy invested in this important project.  We have negotiated with the owner over the past 6 to 9 months, and there is no need to pay additional costs for a re-appraisal value for this property.  Further, we have held several public meetings and will bring this purchase request to the June Town meeting.

The current Board of Selectmen includes John Zimini, Bob Cox, George Malliaros, Joe DiRocco and Jimmy O’Loughlin.  All of these board members are very concerned about pending taxpayers money.  John, Bob and George have been big supporters of this project from the day the idea was generated within the community. Joe has since joined in support.

The Town has a very important event coming up relative to moving this community investment project towards a reality.  And Ted Kosiavelon’s plan does not recognize the hard work of many community members.  As a
result, I am asking that you join me at the polls on May 5th and vote to re-elect Canney Farm supporters John Zimini and Bob Cox.  I would also ask that you contact as many people as possible to get them out to vote in
favor of John and Bob on May 5th!!!!
