Births in Dracut still tend Downward »

The latest birth statistics (2006) have appeared at the State of Massachusetts. When taken in the long run, we continue to see a downward trend in the number of births each year registered to Dracut residents though in the last eight years or so, the trend is fairly flat.

Senior Waiver to Prop 2-1/2 Overrides still a Threat »

The bill to provide a waiver for seniors so that they would not be impacted by proposition 2-1/2 override votes in local communities passed its first vote in the house.

Golf Course changing hands, Severance at it again? »

Well, the realty trust that owns the Meadowcreek Golf Course on Broadway have worked out a deal to sell the golf course to a local partnership.
At issue, of course, are all the agreements made by the previous owners (such as ongoing issues with the American Legion, the permanent clubhouse, other permit stipulations).
