Salvation Army Radiothon »

Its that time of year again.
980 WCAP is once again hosting the annual Salvation Army Radiothon on December 15th.
Work began months ago, with teams of volunteers working to line up auction items, cash donations, volunteers and this year we’ve added remote locations as well (more info to follow).

Rotary Club Gingerbread Fundraiser »

The Dracut Rotary Club is having its first Gingerbread House competition today as a fundraiser to help support the new Dracut Food Pantry.

I took the opportunity last night to go over and see this year’s “No Room at the Inn” presentation at  St John’s Episcopal Church in Lowell (the small church next to the big courthouse on Gorham St).
This event is a display of nearly 250 nativity sets and creches, from around the world.
